Description
The Canadian Police College is pleased to offer a modernized version of the Senior Police Administrative Course (SPAC). Delivered across 8 days, this highly interactive and engaging program places greater emphasis on interpersonal awareness and creating effective and supportive police team environments.
This course is intended for members of law enforcement agencies who have supervisory experience (Sergeants, Staff Sergeants, and Civilian Supervisors) and are ready to take on the challenges associated with more complex or senior management roles. Participants will learn how to strengthen and adapt their management and leadership skills to effectively respond to evolving social and organizational realities.

- There will be a psychometric exercises and debrief which will approximately 4 hours and must be completed prior to starting the course

Eligibility and mandatory requirements
- This course is offered to Sergeants, Staff Sergeants and Civilian Supervisors serving in Canadian law enforcement agencies
- The college takes into consideration the organizational structure and/or rank when reviewing applications for the course. Applicants may be asked to submit a letter of support from their agency for admission to the course
- Acceptance or refusal in the course is at the discretion of the Canadian Police College
Assessment
- Success in the course is based on participation and completion of all required assignments, written and practical
- Various evaluation methods are used, including: class participation, learning reflections, an individual and group presentations
- Re-testing or re-evaluation is conducted at the discretion of the course facilitator
